Who is worried? Who is on edge? Who is in a quandary? Look! The person who puts off their business. Be wise, my friend, and conduct your affairs with diligence.
- If you owe someone money and you have the funds, rush to give it to them.
- Treat paperwork like an emergency room patient: as soon as it comes through your door, deal with it.
- Instead of putting something off simply because you don’t understand it, seek out immediate advice on the matter and don’t rest until you completely know what is expected of you.
- When asked to do something, seek to do it sooner rather than later.
- Respond to messages sooner rather than later. People will appreciate your consideration.
- Learn to make quick decisions on insignificant things – and learn what are insignificant things.
- Hate procrastination.
- Be on time — yea, ahead of time! — for all engagements. You will gain the early bird’s advantage.
If you train (or retrain) yourself, you will be like a freshly sharpened instrument going through life with ease. You will gain control of your circumstances, and you will have when others have not. Won’t this, also, cause the world to glorify God and His Kingdom on your behalf?
